In case you haven't had a chance to see Race to Nowhere, you will have an opportunity November 15, 2012 in Pleasanton. The Amador Valley High School (AVHS) PTSA Wellness Committee and the AVHS Challenge Success Team are hosting a Race to Nowhere screening at Valley Community Church (4455 Del Valle Parkway, Pleasanton) on November 15th at 6:30pm. This event is open to the community.
Race toNowhere is an award-winning documentary that highlights the unintended
consequences of our pressure-cooker culture and education system. An
eye-opening call to action, the film challenges our current assumptions about
how to best prepare young people for the future.
